When I started this Substack, my biggest hope was to connect—both with readers who love romance as much as I do, and with fellow authors walking this wild publishing road alongside me. Writing is solitary, but storytelling never is.

It’s always about sharing—the worlds, the characters, the laughs, and the swoons.

For me, it all comes down to three things: Magic, Mayhem, and Mates. That’s what I write, that’s what I celebrate, and that’s what I want to bring here to you.

Being an indie author comes with its share of trials—limited reach, endless algorithms, and always trying to stand out in a sea of stories. Growing as an author means putting yourself out there, and let me tell you, that’s not as easy as it sounds for us introverted, bookish types who would rather be tucked away with a laptop and coffee than shouting into the void of the internet.

But here I am—taking the leap, learning as I go, and opening myself up to new readers, new friends, and new possibilities.

And you? You’ve shown up, cheered me on, and made me feel like this little corner of the internet really is magical. So, that’s it. Why I’m here. To broaden my scope, try something new, and grow this community.
