For indie authors like me, reviews are lifelines. They help new readers decide if a book is worth giving a shot, and they tell the almighty algorithms, “Hey, people are actually enjoying this one—show it to more readers!”

And the best part? A review can be short.
Really short.
Like “Hey, this book was good. You should read it. Okay, bye.”

Here are some real-life style examples:
