There’s something about spring that feels like a fresh start—new blooms, new energy, and a reminder that growth doesn’t look the same for everyone… and that’s a beautiful thing. 🌷

That idea—of embracing what makes us unique—is at the heart of why body positivity matters so much to me. Because “healthy” doesn’t have one look. Bodies come in all shapes, sizes, and stories. And every single one of them deserves love, respect, and joy.

For me, this isn’t just something I write about—it’s something I lived.

I grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey, as a plus-size girl surrounded by strong, capable, no-nonsense women. I went to an all-girls high school run by women who taught us to take up space, speak up, and own who we were—no apologies.

At home, I watched my mom build and run a successful business, with my sisters right there beside her.

Girl power wasn’t a slogan—it was just life. 💪💖

And that shaped everything. Including the stories I tell.
