What I’m Working On Right Now

January always feels like a reset button—fresh pages, new goals, and a whole lot of coffee ☕

So I thought I’d kick off 2026 with a little behind-the-scenes peek at what I’m working on right now.

This month, my focus is firmly on contemporary romance.

First up, you’ll be seeing Book 2 in my Wrecked Rockstar Romance series, Broken Chords, releasing soon. This one is a second-chance romance—past lovers reunited, old wounds reopened, and a connection that refuses to stay buried. It’s about rediscovering each other, growing stronger than before, and delivering an explosive HEA that hits you right in the feels. Emotional, intense, and very worth the wait.

Next on deck is Ego, part of my Sigma International Security series. This story pairs a grumpy, closed-off bodyguard with a sweet schoolteacher who completely derails his self-control. She’s sunshine, he’s scowls—and somehow she makes him think all the naughty thoughts. And if he does something wrong? Well… he secretly hopes she makes him do it again. 😏

Of course, releases don’t happen in a vacuum.

Alongside the writing comes the business side of this author gig—and yes, that means the dreaded marketing plans. January is when I sit down, look at what worked in 2025, what didn’t, and try to forge a smarter, more sustainable path forward.

And honestly? That’s where I want to leave you with a little advice—whether you’re a writer, a creative, or just someone setting goals this year:

👉 Look at your own stats.
👉 Pay attention to what’s actually making a difference for you.
👉 Don’t get caught up in what everyone else says you should be doing.

Different strokes, people. What works for one creator won’t work for everyone—and that’s okay.
