Behind the Scenes: Getting Ready for a Signing (aka Organized Chaos 😅📚)

Okay but… can we talk about how getting ready for a signing is actually unhinged???

Like right now my life is:

✔️ Packing books
✔️ Unpacking books because I packed the wrong ones
✔️ Repacking books but now questioning all my life choices
✔️ Stickers? Check.
✔️ Bookplates? Check.
✔️ Pens? I have 47. Why do I have 47 pens.
✔️ Did I pack deodorant? PRIORITIES.

And then there’s the mental prep…

Because let’s not forget—I am, at my core, an introvert who spends most of her time making fictional people fall in love and/or ruin each other’s lives.

And now I’m just supposed to casually walk into Tempted & Tantalizing (TNTNC) like, “Hello yes hi I am a normal human who knows how to socialize.” 😅

The truth? I don’t. Not really.

BUT.

Put me in a room with readers?
Other authors?
People who love books as much as I do?

Suddenly I will talk your ear off about:
🔥 Book boyfriends
💋 Fated mates
📚 Plot twists that wrecked me
👀 And probably overshare something chaotic

So yeah—there will be nerves. There will be awkward moments. There will absolutely be me forgetting what I was saying mid-sentence.

But I am SO excited to be back at TNTNC—my very first signing back in 2017 and still one of my absolute favorites. 💕

If you’re coming this weekend, PLEASE come find me (Table 75!!). I promise good vibes, great books, and at least one slightly frazzled but very happy author.
