Behind the Scenes: Finding My Niche…or Refusing To 😉

You’d think that after publishing over 200 books (wild, right?) I’d have settled neatly into one lane—found my niche, parked myself there, and stayed put.

But nope.
Not this author.

I’m always reaching, always dreaming, always itching to try something new. Personality quirk or not, I just love learning and experimenting with new subgenres and tropes.

But to me, that’s the fun of being indie. I get to follow the ideas that spark joy, obsession, and just a little bit of chaos.

And with that said, yes, 2026 is going to be packed with all the goodies.

You can expect more Rockstar Romances 🎸, more Cowboys and Mountain Men 🤠🏔️, and a brand-new Paranormal Romance Trilogy I’ve secretly been shaping behind the scenes.

I won’t spoil anything yet, but trust me—you’re going to like this one.

The thing is, when I first started writing (well, let’s be real—I always knew I wanted to write), I set out to write the kind of books I loved to read. At the time, with a young family and a schedule that was more haphazard than carefully planned, I constantly found myself frustrated with giant, never-ending books that didn’t give me the emotional payoff I needed.

So I made myself a promise.

I would always deliver an HFN or HEA in every single book I write.

No cliffhangers, no dragging readers along for years waiting for a resolution.

Just romance that satisfies.

And I also learned something important along the way—a book doesn’t need to be 800 pages to be complete.

See, being an indie means being my own boss and setting my own rules. Cool, right?

So, if you’re like me, and time is a precious commodity, but you still crave the joy and escape that only reading can give, then maybe take a stroll through my catalog. I’ve got books galore, and you don’t need a month to finish them. Some of them? You can wrap up in an afternoon with a cup of coffee and a cozy blanket.

My stories may not change the world, but if they make you smile, soothe your stress, offer a moment of peace, or help you escape into magic and mayhem for a little while, well, then I’ve done what I set out to do.

Writing can be frustrating. Publishing can be difficult. Marketing? Impossible.

But sometimes being an indie author can also be rewarding.

So, thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for letting me share these worlds with you. 💖📚✨

P.S. Still here? Awesome! Let’s Talk About One of My Hidden Gems… ❄️❤️

With the holiday season in full swing, I want to shine a little light on one of my lesser-read but absolutely favorite stories—the kind of book that just belongs in December.

✨ Unexpected Protector ✨
Can East meet West in this comedic tale of romance, mishaps, and a Demon who’s hopelessly in love?

This story is pure holiday magic with a paranormal twist. We follow Medjed—the Warrior of Osiris himself—who has somehow ended up wandering the Earth without purpose. (Spoiler: a bored ancient being is never a good thing.) His friends decide to send him far, far away from trouble… which is how he winds up at the North Pole, of all places, doing a little recon work.

But fate has other plans.

Instead of snowmen and peace and quiet, he runs smack into a Christmas Elf—one who just so happens to be his mate. 🎄💘
Cue the chaos, the comedy, and a whole lot of heart.

Oh, and yes—Santa Claus makes an appearance, because what’s a holiday romcom without the big guy himself?

The clock is ticking.
Will Medjed claim his mate before midnight on Christmas Eve?
Or will she vanish with Santa’s magical village until next year?

It’s quirky, sweet, steamy, funny, and full of holiday warmth. A perfect little escape for anyone who loves their Christmas cheer with a side of ancient-Egyptian-warrior-meets-fated-mate chaos.
